ESG Efforts within S&P Global
In 2017, S&P Global formally expressed support for the recommendations set forth by the Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Through the use of our data, analytics, and tools, we conducted a comprehensive climate scenario analysis across our businesses in 2018 and identified our risks and opportunities. The Company’s inaugural TCFD report was issued in May 2019.
S&P Global is projecting a five-year revenue compound annual growth rate of approximately 40% from products and solutions that assist its clients in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
