A Message from S&P Global Investor Relations

2024 was a year of tremendous growth and evolution at S&P Global. Revenue increased 14% year over year. Adjusted diluted earnings per share increased 25% year over year, surpassing the mid-point of our initial guidance by more than 13%. S&P Global also returned $4.4 billion to its shareholders through dividends and share repurchases. This performance reflects our commitment to disciplined execution and to maximizing long-term shareholder value.

In November 2024, Martina Cheung became the 11th CEO in our history as a public company. We also announced new leaders in our Market Intelligence and Commodity Insights Divisions, as well as the creation of the Chief Client Office and the Enterprise Data Office. In February 2025, Eric Aboaf joined as Chief Financial Officer. With the new Executive Leadership Team in place, the Company is well positioned to take full advantage of our data, technology, and strong global brands to create meaningful value for our customers and shareholders alike.

We are expanding our leading position in benchmarks, capitalizing on the growth in private markets, and leveraging our unparalleled data sets to provide deep insights for clients. Our generative AI initiatives are transforming our product offerings, while our focus on the energy transition positions us to support clients in a complex, evolving energy landscape.

As an Investor Relations team, our goal is to provide the information that long-term investors need to make confident decisions. The Investor Fact Book is one example, and we welcome feedback on ways that we can make this resource more helpful to investors.
