The S&P Global Marketplace provides users with a streamlined way to explore offerings from all five divisions of S&P Global, along with Sustainable1 and Kensho as well as select third-party partners. 

Each data offering, displayed as a unique tile, is complemented with visualizations, sample data, research, and technical documentation to help the user on their data discovery journey.

Building for the Future with Generative AI Search & Blueprints

  • Marketplace Generative AI Search enables improved discoverability and exploration of S&P Global offerings on Marketplace through question and answer. Built in partnership with Kensho, the Generative AI Search utilizes a Large Language Model (LLM) trained on the information, metadata, and support documentation from across the platform to enable users to ask questions about our offerings and meet them where they are on their discovery journey.
  • Marketplace Blueprints demonstrate how various datasets can be combined with solutions to help solve our clients’ business-use cases and workflow needs in key areas such as Private Markets and Energy Transition.
  • Each Blueprint includes a description of the required datasets and/or solutions and details on how they are utilized in a client’s workflow. Additionally, users can explore a code notebook and a technical video demonstration of how S&P Global’s offerings work together to solve business challenges.

Reimagined Query Library

  • The S&P Global Marketplace Query Library is a multifaceted tool that enables quick utilization of S&P Global and curated third-party data. Users can leverage over 1,300 pre-built queries to expedite their data evaluation and analysis, whether querying data on-premise or in the cloud.  
  • Each query profile page includes a brief description, key metadata (data source, datasets used, required data packages), and categorizes queries by type (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).    
  • Queries provide building blocks that support the development of more complex workflows.  

Streamlined Discovery & Exploration

  • The S&P Global Marketplace comprises more than 330 tiles, of which 80 were added in 2024.
  • With over 430K users and 4.2 million tile engagements in 2024, the S&P Global Marketplace continues to gain engagement as it helps clients benefit from the full estate of S&P Global offerings.
